HarianLampung.co.id – Jakarta Residents Can Extend Driving License at SIM Keliling Event on March 29
Jakarta residents can extend their driving licenses (Surat Izin Mengemudi or SIM) at the SIM Keliling event held by the Polda Metro Jaya on March 29. The event will take place from 08.00-13.30 WIB at five different locations around the city.
The SIM Keliling locations are as follows:
1. Jakarta Timur: Mall Grand Cakung
2. Jakarta Selatan: Kampus Trilogi Kalibata
3. Jakarta Barat: LTC Glodok
4. Jakarta Barat: Mall Citraland
5. Jakarta Pusat: Kantor Pos Lapangan Banteng
SIM Keliling by Polda Metro Jaya only serves extension applications for SIM A and C licenses that can be done before they expire. If the license has already expired, a new SIM application will need to be processed.
The fees for SIM A and C extension are in accordance with Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, which amounts to IDR 80,000 for SIM A and IDR 75,000 for SIM C.
The requirements for SIM A or C extension are as follows:
1. A copy of a valid ID card.
2. A copy of the old SIM and the original SIM.
3. A health check report.
4. A psychological test report.
In the implementation of the SIM Keliling event, Polda Metro Jaya will still apply health protocols by wearing masks, washing hands with soap or hand sanitizer, and keeping a distance from others.
