HarianLampung.co.id – Workshop on Strengthening Internal Control System Held in Pringsewu District
The Secretary of Pringsewu District, Heri Iswahyudi, Heads of Agencies, Sub-district Heads throughout Pringsewu District, Project Managers/Heads of Departments, Planning Sub-section Chiefs, Planning Experts, SPIP Administrators from various Departments, the APIP of Pringsewu District, and workshop participants were all present at the Technical Guidance Workshop.
Representatives from the BPKP of Lampung Province, Tugino H and Bara Aji Anggara, also attended to provide guidance on the importance of strengthening the implementation of the SPIP to ensure accountability and transparency in all Regional Organizations in Pringsewu District.
In a written speech delivered by the Acting District Head through the Secretary of Pringsewu District, Heri Iswahyudi emphasized the importance of evaluating the results of the Integrated SPIP Assessment for Pringsewu District in the Fiscal Year 2024, especially in relation to Areas of Improvement (AOI).
He expressed hope that the evaluation results could be used as a reference to support efforts for change in the Integrated Internal Control Management.
“The Areas of Improvement identified in this evaluation should be the basis for supporting innovation in Pringsewu District Government, especially in terms of control, prevention, and eradication of corruption. This is important because the risk of corruption can hinder the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Local Government,” he explained.
He also emphasized the need to focus on substantial matters related to integrated assessment elements in efforts to prevent corruption. The Pringsewu District Government, he continued, needs to continue innovating to strengthen internal control, in order to prevent risks that may potentially hinder the success of regional development.
